Sir Sir Elton John and the Elton John AIDS Foundation have partnered with TikTok for World AIDS Day 2020, raising awareness about the disease through a campaign and live event.

The live show will take place on the legendary British singer/songwriter's TikTok channel, December 1, and will feature an appearance from his husband David Furnish along with performances by Sam Smith, Sam Fender, and Rina Sawayama. The I'm Still Standing hitmaker said 'We all need to care about HIV and end the discrimination around this disease... There’s a great lineup for our TikTok Live to break down the myths around HIV, talk about safe sex and ensure that young people know how to protect themselves and others'.
